My niece Amelia... I dressed her. I love putting her in ridiculous amounts of pink. I am totally going to get my pink sparkly glittery girly fix by playing with her and dressing her up. And tutus. I'm totally going to get her tutus....

No time for blogging...

or making stuff either. i should take some pictures of stuff I've already made.... I need to finish a pair of socks for Ben! I just started my externship, so now I'm working like 8 hours a day and suddenly there is no knitting in my life! it's tragic, really. So instead I'll post some pictures of the tummy. I think these are 24/25 weeks. Who knows. Here's me in regular clothes...

Crazy Monkeys!

Jason went to S. Carolina for work yesterday, and while he was gone I did a lot of sewing!! I finished most of the crib stuff, just need to make the other 2 pieces of the bumper and it's all done. And then I'll probably make some other random pillows or something out of the scraps. I totally love it. The crib isn't put together yet because we are going to repaint it (and the changing table) but I half set it up so I could see what it all looked like. We don't have a mattress yet either, so you can see the random fabric I used for the part of the bedskirt that goes under the mattress. Ben helped pick out the chenille stuff that's lining the inside of the bumper and quilt, and he did a great job. It is soooooo soft.
Ignore the dirty crib... we're totally cleaning and painting it! Organizer thingy, made from random scraps. I totally overestimated how much fabric I would need, which is cool because I have extra!

Ben being cute today at the park before swim lessons.

My little swimmer...

Ben is doing so awesome in swim lessons. He can do freestyle and backstroke, for about half the pool length each. He's in the big kid class now (In the deep end!!!), he passed all the preschool classes so now he gets to be in the 6 and up class even though he's four. Because he's awesome like that. Yeah I'm ridiculously proud of him.
